Problem: The government have been consistently underfunding art and design to the extent that it’s now affecting rate of uptake of Art and Design as a subject, which will ultimately cause a creativity crisis.
Solution: AND! is a charitable art organisation making art and design front and centre for young people. We aim to cultivate a generation of young people to love art and design and understand the opportunities it has. Whilst exploring a breadth of mediums and techniques.
Starting with ages 11-14 will help get art and design chosen more as an option at GCSE and A-level, proving to the government that Art's Not Dead!
Creating hype around the brand is key to get kids intrigued and wanting to get involved. Using social media and guerilla marketing strategies in non-traditional advertising spaces to grab attention and gain traction.
AND! website using brand identity, continuing rebellious tone but still communicating reassuring and clear information about AND!
The AND! double-decker workshop bus allows AND! to travel to England, bringing a huge variety of workshops delivered by a team of skilled designers, artists and technicians.

The team, shown in a "uniform" of sorts, each item is unique to the individual but in keeping with the brand identity.

The AND! exhibition posters allows all the students to present what they have created throughout the AND! bus residency. Creating confidence and pride in the arts.
AND! doesn’t want to be forgotten about after they’ve left the school they are visiting, so each member of AND! receives a monthly magazine to keep inspiring young people. Art’s Not Dead keeps them updated on what’s trending in the art world, introducing them to new techniques and telling the stories of a diverse group of people who have succeeded in the industry; showing that choosing art doesn’t mean you’ll be a starving artist.
